Adult Student Services     

You must be an admitted adult student enrolled at least half-time in order to apply for these funds. Complete the Adult & Transfer Student Scholarship Application--one application provides consideration for all scholarships. Need-based scholarships also require completion of a FAFSA. Contact Office for Adult Students at (336) 256-0300 for more information or to obtain an application. The application deadline is July 1st. Recipients will be notified on or around August 1st.

Carolyn Langston Stevens Scholarship	Awarded on the basis of financial need to degree- or license-seeking non-traditional students who have demonstrated a commitment to pursuing a degree in teaching. Preference will be given to female students and those students whose circumstances can be described by one of the following statements: attending college for the first time, returning to complete underdgraduate or graduate studies that have been interrupted, or has earned a bachelor's degree and is now returning to college to earn a second degree or licensure that will enable them to teach.
